Start Seeing a More Confident Dog 🧡🐶

Board and Train programs are not right for every dog. Spending multiple weeks away in an unfamiliar place can make it too stressful for dogs to learn.

At Urban Pawsbilities, we believe the best results come from a program that incorporates regenerative breaks for the learner. We build breaks into your dog's day when they're at a school and then send them home to let all the learning sink in.

Investing in regular day training will help your dog be able to generalize and practice skills with you between visits.

Sending your dog to school allows for longer lasting progress to be made than if your dog spent 2 consecutive weeks in a Board and Train.

“I'm so grateful that this is an option for my dog. He continues to improve his relationship with different people handling him and can coexist peacefully around dogs even if he can't interact with them. Thanks so much for all the thought and care that goes into the day training and working with our beloved furry friends. The helpful handouts are a nice bonus!”

What Your Dog Will Learn At School

During their school day, your dog will get potty breaks and handpicked playgroups (or training walks for non-social dogs) to give your dog positive social interactions while at our facility in Portland, OR.
Your dog will also get a 1-on-1 training session (double the training time for the Plus+ packages) with our professional dog trainers to practice some of those skills you've always wanted them to learn.
The daytraining school program is broken up into categories of behavioral focus, like loose leash walking, reactivity reduction, recall, and more.
🎓 In order to “graduate” to the next phase of training, the trainer must demonstrate that your dog has mastered the skills required in a test proctored by one of our head trainers.
